It’s becoming very clear that progressive California is headed towards a long slow slog out of recession with slow growth for years if not decades to come while hands-off Texas will be a national growth engine starting immediately.
@tedr It’s likely reasonable to note in that reblog the likelihood of you relocating to TX to exploit their “opportunities.”

UPDATE: Looking again, one can almost postulate “Investment in the southeast and soutwestwest was excessive from ~1980 to 2007. The recession will spur the Rust Belt, traditional oil production centers, midwest and New England to catch up, with the tragic and obvious exception of Michigan.”
